I have always thought he would be a great pick. His resume is stellar. McCain would be shakin' and tempted to salute him. What he said about MCain's POW experience is true and should be elaborated on.

The president has no right to force his religious views on the people. His job is to uphold the law. The law is there so we have the right to decide for ourselves. It doesn't not force us to have an abortion either.

How has religion given McCain any morality. He dumped his first wife after she was crippled and disfigured to marry the rich young and beautiful Cindy. Sounds like another hypocrite. It's not what religion, it is what is in one's heart and if they have a heart at all.

Only followers have the identical beliefs as any religion. I want a president that is a leader, not a follower and someone that thinks on his own. Besides religion and morality are not the same thing.
